List of Nifty Next 50 stocks

The Nifty NEXT 50 comprises large-cap companies ranking from 51 to 100 based on average market capitalization.

The Nifty NEXT 50 price is calculated using the free-float market capitalization of its constituent companies. In this method, the index value is estimated by dividing the total weighted market cap of the index of all companies by the base index price, i.e., 1,000.

To calculate the market cap of all these companies, only shares available to the public are considered, excluding shares held by promoters, governments, etc.

The Nifty NEXT 50 Index is driven by the performance of these 50 companies and other factors such as:

• Market performance
• Sector performance
• Global market conditions

There are fifty companies in this index.

The basic eligibility criteria for a stock to qualify for this index are that it should be part of the Nifty 100 but exclude Nifty 50 stocks.
